The Coronavirus emergency generated a rapid deployment of Remote working. However, this way of working is offering cyber criminals new possibilities and new spaces to carry out their criminal activities. Defending ourselves requires preventing a number of critical remote working-related issues from turning into vulnerabilities, and turning us into unwitting victims of cyber scams.
In this Card we wanted to highlight 6 practical tips for working safely from home:
- beware of phishing emails
- use complex and unique passwords
- do not use public Wi-Fi
- always keep anti-virus software updated
- secure Wi-Fi at home
- use strong authentication
